ABOUT KHEMKA MOTORS ,NAGPUR, INDIA

Khemka Motors is one of the oldest automobile firm in Central India, established in the year 1948. This firm used to import and sell cars, trucks, jeeps in the fifties. Some products handled were Jeeps, Hudson, Morris, Renault, International, Studebaker & Landrover vehicles. But these were later on stopped ,as imports of cars were banned by Govt. of India.

In the year 1957, Khemka Motors entered into agreement with Tractors & Farm Equipment Ltd, Madras (TAFE) for Dealership of Massey Ferguson Tractors for entire Vidharba ( now about 10 districts of Maharastra) and some part of Madhya Pradesh. In the year 2000 left dealership of Massey Ferguson and took dealership of John Deere tractors. In the Year 1976 Khemka motors also took dealership of Allwyn Pushpak Scooters which continued upto 1984, then Vespa PL170 from 1984 to 1988. These scooters were manufactured by Andra Pradesh Scooters Ltd, Hyderabad, but as the company closed, the dealing in scooters was stopped. 

Now Khemka Motors is managed by Mr. Vinod Khemka who has experience in this line for over 30 years. He is also assisted by his sons Mr. Gaurav Khemka and Mr. Gautam Khemka. The turnover of Khemka Motors in last 3 years is over Rs. 8 crores i.e. Rs 80 million per annum. Khemka Motors have recently contructed a state of art showroom at Wardha, measuring about 8,000 sq. ft. for Sales and Service of L&T-John Deere tractors & Piaggio APE  Diesel 3 Wheelers and are also lookout for new ventures for Wardha.
